David C. Hogarty, DO, FAAPMR

Dr. Dave Hogarty grew up in Virginia, and attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he met his future wife Dr. Suneya Hogarty. He completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan in 2003. After spending his 1st 2 years of practice in New Hampshire, Dr. Dave, along with Dr. Suneya and their two sons located to Goldsboro, North Carolina in 2005. During their 1st 14 years in Goldsboro, their family has grown to include a daughter. In 2019 Dr. Dave and Suneya started Integrative Arthritis and Pain ( IAPC), with the goal of providing holistic medical care to their patients in Wayne County, and surrounding areas.

Dr. Dave uses a variety of tools including osteopathic manipulation, injections, acupuncture, and medications to help treat painful conditions that limit patient’s function. The goal of all these treatments is to help restore more normal movements with less pain, allowing patient is to get back into the stream of life again. Over the last 5 years a new part of his practice has included use of regenerative medicine tools such as platelet rich plasma (PRP ) to treat degenerative conditions such as knee osteoarthritis, rotator cuff tendinitis, and tennis elbow. These tools harness the healing power of the body to heal damaged tissue, which leads to significant reductions in pain and improved function.

Suneya Hogarty, DO, FACOI

Dr. Suneya Hogarty is a Goldsboro native. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Davidson College, she attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine residency through Michigan State University, and then did a fellowship in Rheumatology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover New Hampshire.

She returned to Goldsboro in 2005 to be closer to family. She has been serving Wayne County residents since that time, and recently, with her husband Dr. Dave Hogarty, opened and independent medical clinic, Integrative Arthritis and Pain Consultant, PA. Dr. Suneya please in treating the whole person, since all disease affecting the mind, body, and spirit. She has integrated both Eastern Western philosopies into her daily practice.

She is the mother of 3 children, and a girl scout leader.

Lesley Nunn, FNP

Lesley, also a Virginia native, graduated from nursing school in 2005 from East Carolina University and started her career at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  She relocated to Goldsboro in 2007 and over the course of 8 years worked in a variety of settings including medical-surgical, OR, Post-anesthesia care and school nursing.  In 2013 she completed her Masters in Nursing and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Lesley has experience in Internal Medicine and has been working alongside Dr. Suneya and Dr. Dave since 2016.  She works closely with both physicians to provide holistic care in the areas of Rheumatology and Physical Medicine and Rehab. She is married and has 2 children, a daughter and a son.
